“I integrate psychodynamic and somatic psychotherapies in a unique process for each person  I work with. These approaches accomplish what needs to be satisfied to heal: A bridge between the body with the mind.”

about angela

“I have been in private practice since 1997, providing specialized psychodynamic psychotherapy for treating eating disorders, perinatal mental health, and process addiction. My clinical mindset is infused with curiosity and exploration of what inspires thinking, feeling, and being with each person I talk with. I help others create purpose and meaning by examining their human desire. Listening to the messages of both body and mind is essential for comprehending our emotional lives.”

I am dedicated to studying psychoanalysis to provide my patients with solid and valuable psychodynamic psychotherapy. I have been involved in continuing education through various psychoanalytic institutes throughout my career.

I have completed the Center for Modern Psychoanalytic Studies two-year certification in psychoanalysis, the International Psychotherapy Institute’s one-year Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Consultation Program, and the Los Angeles Institute for Psychoanalytic Study Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Certification Program.

My approach requires an appreciation of the brain and the body, and I completed Antioch University’s 30-hour Somatic Psychotherapy Certification Program.
